I would never own one if those Bavarian pieces of s***e after riding them GSes distances in the States (only available alternative was a V Strom or a Goldwing!) And the engine fell out of a mate's K1200 when the ally lug sheared! According to BMW-loving mates the new bikes are very poorly made.
Sorry for the radio silence...just back off two weeks holiday, been at Bologna for two days this week for an interview and press conference (read is all in next week's paper on sale on September 18). Anyway, is this September 28th ride-out happening? That sounds like something that would be cool to join if OK with you guys. Maybe we could meet up and then head to Aylesbury Ducati from there and then head off home when everyone has had enough. I'm not bothered about the weather at all...as long as it's not snowing I am all good. let me know what people think. Andy Downes MCN
OK Andy the route is planned and I will keep everything updated on: http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f6/mutley-ride-benson-tbc-saturday-28th-september-14577/ See you for breakfast at the Waterside cafe, Benson at 10ish then on to OYB, Westcott (Ducati Aylesbury). Ian
pencil me in, anyone else coming from surrey area? I was looking at a straight blat M25, M4............ 60 miles from my address
How many sleeps is it now? Ooooo I'm (easily) excited. Will the car park at the café be big enough? Taking in to account the odd box (car) that might be there too.
I live in Aylesbury so will definitely try to be at On Yer Bike, and if the weather is good (dry) I'll try to pop over to Benson for the start
