You sound like a bunch of old fellows a bike isn't just for christmas you know. Plenty of good riding days to come.
Yes, I was thinking this is a bit premature. Mind you, if it was wet and 4°c here this morning, you can bet it was snowing on the mountain passes. Still, I reckon that there is a good chance of some nice rides over the next month in the Jura (not nearly so high). I have to admit to not actually taking my 999 to the Alps this summer. Shame on me. Well, I've done a lot of them over the years. With more cash I'd have buggered off for a few days. Next year!
is 'ooop north' really that far behind most of the Uk? today is April 2013 in Holmfirth? Its december here chief, and a heatwave!! come on, catch up......
allways snow on the hill for the wifes birthday, 7th october, if someone could remind me nearer the time that would be cool. cheers.
There's a lot to be said for autumn: wild mushrooms, la chasse (wild boar, venison, hare etc with cranberry sauce, halved pears and spätzli). But I was enjoying summer, which was fab. Too bad there was only 2 months of it.
