Great use of Carbon, Ti, Magnesium and a few other bits and pieces

  1. Hi, I had the casing machined to be "cut a way", then painted the casing satin black, leaving the machined faces satin ally.

  2. Looks good... Is the exhaust titanium?

Got any future plans for the bike? It looks great with the exposed carbon nose cone and single seat unit.

  3. Exhaust is the 57mm system in stainless with extra lambda port, power commander and bespoke engine map done by BST. 124bhp at the back wheel.

The nose cone and seat unit were bought from Sharpy G, another carbon addict  So the credit should really go to him.

Only thing in the pipe line is a new clutch as my clutch basket is reaching the end of its life, so, guess a nice 6 ball DP slipper may find its way on there.

Other than a new clutch, No more plans for the bike, think I've reached the point were there is enough bolt on bling .... If not a little too much.

  4. Thought the seat and nose cone were very sharpy esq!!

    Have you changed the gearing?

I have ordered a tank breather kit from Jerry so that's the last thing to do on my bike... Sadly won't be riding this year due to house purchase...

  5. Left the rear sprocket as standard, but, running a 14t on the front. To be honest I can't remember if I swapped the front or not. I know my 749s was 15t as standard on the front, and I dropped that to 14t. Quite sure I did the same mod to the 749r as well.

Did fit a case saver at the same time when the front sprocket and chain were being sorted.

  6. Apart from the looks, what's the purpose of the tank breather?

  7. Be careful......the answers you get maybe more obvious than you think
