  1. I like the 899 banana. I just worry that it is that hideous rough casting that they use on the Monster. Polished alloy would look good.

  5. I love mine too. It shares a garage with a 748 and they get on very well...

    999 and Spa - a great combination!

    Note fat tank from 749R...

  9. Brilliant bikes. I had two, a 999S then the final release 999R. Loved em both but the R was effin sublime. Wish I'd never sold it. Best bike I'd ever owned. Gorgeous with those CB fairings.
    Got a breathed on 1098R now which I also love but its a total hooligan to ride and needs a better man than me to tame it!

  12. Yes, the absolute bollocks. The CB bodywork is such a deep gorgeous red, and I love the way they laquered through the decals. Class. Wish I still had mine.... sniff.

  15. it's heading that way.....bloody addiction these 999s. Next time I'm at Cadwell I'm sure one of you will let me have a spin on a 999r to try them back to back !!
