This is the 3rd year that the Sharnbrook Hotel will be hosting their Italian Bike and Car Day, located in the village of Sharnbrook, near Bedford, off the A6. There is normally a couple of groups ride in for this event, entry is free, a hog roast, italian coffee and the Grand Prix is showing. I happy to organise the usual ride in from Melton Mowbray and Market Harborough if anyone wants to join me. So Far the list of attendees at Melton is.. Betty Boop Dukedesmo 98 SPS +2 Carbon749 Soup Joining in at Maccy D in Market Harborough.... Niven BialBero Meeting there... Popelli Jester is this right? LOL
The lure of the hogroast almost had me... Then I noticed the date, and it conflicts with WDW 2012... Sadly won't be able to make this one Betty Boop. Cheers for the thread, maybe next year? Hope the Weather Gods are kind for you...
I thought I would flag this up as it is now 7 weeks to this event. Hopefully we may actually have seen some sunshine by then! Always a great day out, well attended and normally scorchingly HOT!
Hi Popelli, No meet ups etc been organised yet.. If memory serves me right I think we usually meet at 10 in Melton Mowbray at the Petrol station on the corner by the park, and then head down to Market Harborough Maccy D, and then on from there via the A6 and A14. I will post more nearer the date about this. If you are coming in from another direction maybe you could head up a a ride in from your end?
Got this one in my calender now, Thanks for the heads up over the weekend. Hopefully we'll get as good weather again as we did last year
oops yes my mistake! The TOTAL garage on the corner of the B6047 Dalby road as the Melton Place to meet..... thanks for the heads up!
Only 3 weekends stand in the way of this day out. I have checked the hotel website and they request bikes arrive by 10.30. I reckon if we meet at 09.00 at the Total garage on the corner of the B6047 Dalby road, in Melton Mowbray leaving at 09.15 to ride down to Maccy D in Market Harborough to leave at 09.45 ish this should all work out, hopefully with no spills this year! Is this OK with those that are joining up to ride in? or is it too early for a Sunday??!! Happy for it to be later if that is the major consensus..... let me know your thoughts please
too early for my other half, she does not do mornings however we are quite happy to ride down later by ourselves and meet up with everybody later on
