I have the road angel tracker fitted, on the whole seems ok. Except theres this rider down function, so if you fall off certain people you nominate get a text same as if it was stolen. Only snag was my wife got a text rider down while I was filling up with fuel, this has happened twice so got that function disabled, its to do with lean angle of bike and time apparently and no motion involved. Its the last thing you want to go wrong, people getting texted etc and you are riding around ok.
Just dont tell em about the tracker. btw, i'd buy an old iPhone 3g and wire it in under the tank. Then use 'Find my iPhone' as the tracker on my mac or iP5.
I'm just getting insurance (for tomorrow) and when I added a tracker (haven't got one) all the comparison sites went up by about £50. Data tagging made no difference to quotes.
