couple of photos from bike night in Plymouth, good night, strange riding home in the dark, cant remember the last time I did that, there was a very nice 999 there and a couple of monsters
I like it Chris.Have a clear out and make some space-then straight back on ebay to grab some bargains.
Well last night I went out to dinner with Archer17 & CookNick, Duke1276 & Pixie1276. It was alright.
Luckily a dry day here in Oxford, so as I decided to go in to work for a couple of hours I donned my leathers and took my old 600SS into work. Funny old bike the SS, I've been thinking of changing it for something a bit more modern and easy to live with (quite what I can't decide), however it cost me £1100 off ebay, nothing has gone wrong with it (yet) and I've done over 1000 miles since passing my test in June this year, it still looks lovely 17 years on and despite being a pig in traffic, (second is too revvy and third makes it cough and splutter) and true to form I had a massive false neutral thrashing up from 4th to 5th, it has just got under my skin, it's quick enough for a novice like me and challenging enough to ride, and although I'm absolutely no expert, it seems to handle well, making each outing a proper adventure, unless it seriously misbehaves I think I'll keep it for a while.
Just home after a day on the bike with the mutley lot. Good fun. Cheers guys n gals. Starting to get the hang of this bike nicely now, another 300+ miles today as I march towards 1500 miles, and still not used sport mode yet ;-)
Great to meet up, Bradders. Good ride, wasn't it. Time to put the Mutley in Sport and give it a blast, I think.
Did you start off from the Riverside Cafe in Benson? popped in there on Monday with Mrs CF and had a great breakfast, they've done it up over the last few years, really nice place now.
