Top ride still leading the championship by 20 points and the races are ticking away. Hope the lad becomes MOTO 2 WORLD CHAMPION 2013. Fingers crossed.
Great race ! Would have been nice to keep ahead of Pol (if only just to have another nation other than Spain on the Podium), but a 3 point reduction in his lead from starting at 13th isn't bad.
So what should Redding's game plan be for the remaining races? He's quick, and no mistake, but Espargaro seems to be able to pull that little bit extra out of the hat towards the end of the race. A bit risky, but if I were Scott I'd be tempted to follow Pol, let him do all the running and save the tyres for the last push. Or pay Kallio hard cash to take him out...
Redding doesn't have to do anything different. He knows what he's doing, but having 'Ice Man Kallio' in your corner doesn't hurt. You could see that Kallio was staying well clear of the Scott/Pol final lap showdown. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a team player
Trouble is, in a straight race Espargaro seems to have a slight advantage, certainly on the straights. It's gonna be hard going for Redding from now on. I'm desperate to see a British world champ in GPs, and this is getting too close for comfort now.
