Forum changes?

  1. Hardly choked tho, would it, depending on how its done. Seems this forum pulls ads back from dealer sites, I'm suggesting its private ads only

  2. I go to what's new when checking in, private ads would be of interest to me. Family grouping sounds good.

  3. Has anyone suggested a "Readers Wives" section yet?

  4. wot Matt sed :upyeah:

  5. Well if someone was going to.... i'd have laid bets on who it might be...

  6. Almost, how about a Readers Ex Wives, and we could become a dating agency and be a bunch of Giggle-ows

  7. im well in favour of reorganising the superbike section..a real no brainer!!

especially if we all get to bitch, bicker and complain about it..

and someone else puts in all the hard work and effort.

  8. Moved to lounge :upyeah:

  9. I am in favour of the spilt it makes sense and I would say it's easier to find thread\posts relating to your model group. I felt it should have been like this from the beginning.

  10. after independence can we shoe horn scotland into a new section, maybe a new farming section or Edinburgh woolen mill section ???

  11. Go for it. Makes perfect sense!...

  12. Yep, I think it should be split into 'Families'.... Keeps them stub nosed 749/999's out of our beautiful 848/1098 section!

*I'm joking really, I actually like the 749 a lot, just being a comedian.

  13. Oi mattmccabebrown!

I thought you were gonna split up the "Superbike" section up properly into family groups

    a. 1198, 1098, 848 etc
    b. 999, 749
    c. 996,916,748 etc

And not be just a "Half a job Harry"

  14. That is still very much the plan. I'm waiting for final approval from Rob and then its just a case of finding the time. This move may also lead to a new gallery section covering all bikes. Then there is the section I'm planning for members to promote their own business/blog/website, but this could lead to problem. I don't, for example want to upset our forum sponsors by offering free advertising space to their competitors. We shall have to see how that turns out

  15. Simply put, if I was a paying forum sponsor I'd be mightily pissed off if someone else was getting free adverrtising and promotional opportunities.

If I were you I'd drop the idea.

But still do the other stuff :upyeah:

  16. Indeed, so it may be restricted to blogs and sites, but we shall see

  17. Merged
