How are you meant to ride that and not burn your legs? Wouldn't appeal to the t-shirt and shorts brigade.
My first was a 2000 model 748S monoposto with termignoni`s, grey 5 spoke marshini wheels and a super chip all fitted from new by Ducati. The engine blew up after 500 miles from new, Ducati took 4 months or so to fix, but then I used it for commuting for the next 6 months and put something like 6000 miles on it. When it was 1 year old I sold it to a guy from Glasgow and went out and bought both an R1 and a VFR750 with the cash I got. Interestingly it was exported in about 2007, but is now back in the country and for sale at a bike dealer near me for well over the market price otherwise i might have been tempted to buy it back.
This is mine, I've only had it 18 months. This was the day I test rode it, one of the very few dry days last year!
1985 Cagiva 650 Alazzura, one of the firs few to come in, polished egine not painted black, converted to 750, commuted on weekdays & club raced some weekends... Covered 40k on this, then p/ex 'd for 1990 900ss, still have this with 90k on now, sorn 5 years needs rebuild & tlc... Now on Hyper evo
My first one was my blue 1999 St4 - bought as an ex-demo from Motorcycle City in Newton Abbott in 2001 with 1300 miles on it. Still have it - currently has 38000 miles on it. It's just passed the MoT, but is untaxed and off road as I'm "down south". Should be back on the road when I get home in mid-November...
I got my first ducati 996BP on the left 14 yrs ago then sold it after buying the one on the right of pic.Had this 98 916SPS for 7 yrs and cant see me ever selling.
My first Ducati was a brand new 998FE - the last one ever to be sold. Sadly I don't have a photo of it because after owning it for 20 mins I wrote it off riding it back home from the shop!
my first was a new desmosedici fitted with the full race system which I used everyday inc frequent trips to see my psychiatrist for help with my compulsive lying.
