One adaptable bike

  1. Finally got around to doing a track day on the Multistrada. Signed up via Ducati Glasgow. Great evening at Knockhill, I wasn't the slowest either but I did win the prize for the most inappropriate bike on the track! I didn't care, the bike was faultless, excellent acceleration and brakes, the big diffence between the Multi and a proper sports bike is the turn in speed. Sportsmart tyres were excellent too.
The next day I put on the Panniers and took the wife to the Isle of Skye for the weekend. Yet again the bike was excellent, taking all of the road types in it's stride from dodgy single tracks to dual carriageway.
It's a fabulous machine, On sunday I bumped into a couple on a R1200RT who had recently sold their Multi. After a brief conversation he confessed to having made a big mistake swapping the Ducati for the BMW. Enough said!:upyeah:

  3. One adaptable bike....for sure!

Yet to do a track day but from the not small number of reports I've read by those that have the Mutley is far from inappropriate for track days.....as no doubt you proved :D
