It's called the Superlegerra...$70k usd, super trick, Akra exhaust, magnesium air box & wheels, carbon everywhere...limited to 500! I was told 200 to begin with but this wasn't right apparently, unsure if it's Oct or Nov that the EICMA is but that's when it's announced/unveiled & you're right, it's by invitation!

 

Is it still a Panigale based bike/chassis? Or something genuinely new.....?

 

Got to be different materials and/or chassis I guess to be eligible for homologation I guess?

 

Don't think it does have to be a different chassis for homologation does it? Look at the 996 when foggy needed a bigger airbox....

Sort of looks like a 125 with the early 999 swing arm. Not exactly drool worthy.

 

I fail to see in any way that it looks like a Pani.

 

It's still Panigale based Ian, that's everything I know though! I'm lucky enough to have my name on 1 so I get given little "teasers", the only pic I've seen is the 1 on the other forum with the Italian link but even Zoot doesn't know if that's how it'll look! My mrs thinks I'm nuts spending lots of money on something I haven't got a clue about & haven't seen but I think we all know it'll be the bollocks however it is!

Again, this can't be a bike for homologation into WSBK if it has a titanium frame.

I've also read it will have a magnesium frame..... Fak, i'm dubious about that too..... It should either be carbon or bring back the trellis fame and add a bit of Vorsprung Dork teknic.....

I fackin hope details come out SOOOOON as its doin my head in..... I got opportunity to get Desmosedici that just had a new engine put in it.... asking £25k for it!
