I use a DP one with the rubber cups but it doesn't fill me with confidence. Can't find any cotton reels for the rear wheel spindle for a mono swingarm.. How about putting a steel bar through the spindle, will that damage anything ?
I use an abba stand on mine but I think they only fit the monos as there are no rear pegs to get in the way

No it won't, I've tapped some SS tubing and fitted some old R&G bobbins to the tube, fitted spacers to the tubing and hey presto a solid secure solution to our paddock stand problems! I'll post some pics after the weekend so you get some idea of what I've done, off to London to the BSMC Event so wont be back till Monday
Thanks Andy, does it matter if the SS bar is not the exact same diameter as the spindle, seems a reasonable solution as I've got some of the old 'hooks' for my DP stand instead of the rubber cups. Just found out R&G do advertise cotton reels for the biposto version, think I'm liking your idea more though.
