Great to see u all, thanks Ian for organising! Pity I had to go to my kids bday party so had to leave early and could not do the bracken bit of the run! None the less it was good to be amongst so many mutley riders! Andy look forward to your article on the 9 th of oct I believe u said! Will buy mcn that week! Well buy it almost any week anyway! Nice to meet Andy W too! And the nice American lady of which we need more of! Ladies I mean in the motor cycle world! Go well stay safe and look forward to the next meet! Fritz
And you Fritz, at last after chatting so much online for the last couple of years or so! Great day Ian, many thanks for organising again - THANKS .......great turn out, what are becoming the usual suspects and a lot of new faces this time. Me an t'other And actually got home in the dry.....icing on the cake! lol Great to see you Tony, sorry the Mutley's gone but I understand......don't be a stranger, keep in touch and come along to rideouts/meets any time ;-) Yeah, with the numbers dwindled the 'rate of progress' picked up nicely, specially the last leg to Benson
She needs a near rear tyre tho...got some idea of the different cans if I choose to change mine too, think Kirk's sounded great and loo ed. Ice from the back, and although I quite like the long termi i didn't like what it was doing to his plate..
I turned up at OYB just as you were all about to head off for your next leg. Just time to say hello to a couple. Was a great turnout. Next time I'll hopefully make it for the whole ride. I counted 19 as you left OYB. Impressive.
Well that was the biggest one by far! I think Andy from MCN raised the attention level and hopefully it will be a good article on his Multistrada out in MCN on 9th October Thanks for your support. It was good to catch up with some old friends (Android, make sure Paolo gets up next time  ) and to put a few more faces to Forum members. Breakfasts at the Waterfront cafe, Benson Andy from MCN organises the group shot at On Yer Bike (who didn't lay on any cakes..... ) Skins cafe @Brackley does a great coffee! And it stayed dry again
Ian, Andy (and others) Thanks for arranging a great day / route and keeping such a large group together as we traveled around. Glad that we all kept upright (my "stall & stumble" at a mini-roundabout was only witnessed by Bugs). Nice to meet up with everyone. Toot toot Chris PS Aircon please can you remind me of the part for the rear light? Cheers
That was fun! Got to OYB after everyone else (pillion was late finishing her match), just started to drink me brew and you all shot off to Skins Café so cruised over to there and you all turned up after me! Will turn up on time if there's a next one; which I hope. Red is THE colour of choice it seems.
Thanks for the route Kirky. Good to see a big turn out and good weather. I finished back at the waterfront having chips and a coffee.
These are well shagged I've now got 2 sets of these brand new in the garage courtesy of the somewhat broke but mighty USA. Saved $300AUD! Even shipped.
i know the third year's warranty costs £300 - but what's the deal for a fourth year? Is it through Ducati?
Warranty Direct do a very comprehensive policy that should be about £340-350 if you haggle them down a bit. I was worried about the engine due to the coolant issue but got the heads replaced just before the 3rd year warranty expired and I suspect as it was a know issue that Ducati would have carried out FOC.
After haggling with Warranty Direct for a years cover once my factory 2 year warranty ran this April; cost me £385. Haven't used it yet but never say never!
Spring is around the corner. Here's a suggestion - how about a ride from Benson to Prescott (58 miles) on 6 April? http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f29/prescott-bike-festival-2014-website-14878/
Looks a really good event Pete. I would have been up for it but unfortunately I'll be in SA for 1st 2 weeks in April. A ride in mid/late March would be good if it ever dries up!
