Followed the tag and the last photo puts the original 916 Senna behind the Panagale and I have to say it's not lost any of it's beauty. Still one of the most understated "sex on a stick" bikes that deserves its place in my top 5. Andy
Yeh, thanks Mito, you did what I didn't know how to . Like I said, a beautifull old lady and I wish she was mine. Andy
It'll just be a standard s in grey paint, an extra sticker and an additional £5k for the privilege and a plaque on the top yolk. Or am I being too cynical?
Currently one on tinternet, unregistered with no miles, £21995. Looks like both of you are taking the p*ss . Andy
The Bikespecialist in Sheffield is selling it and lists a number of "upgrades" but I'm not confident enough to know whether they are original or later additions. I do know they were limited in number and I have the odd memory that the original was commisioned by Senna before he died but that could be a false drunken sot memory. I'm sure someone on here will be able to define the original specification. Andy
The original was a Strada, with a few bits, I paid strong money for a 94 916 Strada in 95 to beat the 8 month wait for a biposta & I preferred the look of the Strada. A friend of mine with a little bit more money got tipped off about a special edition, said he'd have it, expecting an SP type of thing & promptly took delivery of one of the first Senna's. It might have had an Ohlins shock & a couple of bits of carbon, but other than that pretty much the same as mine
Looks nice in Senna paint but why is it never photographed from the other side with that hideous rear shock in full view. 916 still looks fantastic and proportions still look right unlike the Panini but then i am very biased.
they wont actually do it, arse and elbow come to mind there. They will get someone else to strip, spray and decal then add money on (lots of) to aid the Russain black economy
Nice colur... isnt there a Pani Senna in the Panigale gallery already ? So its been done. From that diadeedas forum - maybe thats where they got the idea...
