I know a couple of people who've seen it mate & they've said it's stunning! Emails have been received today, another teaser gets sent tomorrow then another next week. Dealers can forward 3 people's details on to Ducati for consideration!
I've had the call, but I'm not sure. For 30k I can have this one off build. It's 204bhp and 154kg. Decisions, decisions...... Forgot to mention, it comes with the hand built, every piece signed, full open exhaust. Doesn't have any fancy electronics but it's a stunner. Your thoughts are welcome.....
Oooo! A Ducati Bim! Get that! I think Ducati Bims are probably the way to go for those with a well lined multiple pocket jacket. Mind you, if they've ditched the Pani styling for the new thing - maybe my jaw will drop. It hasn't yet as I still think the pointy nosed Pani looks fairly poor, with the cavernous eyes, the empty tail and the rather nondescript tank. I don't hate it, but it's not as good looking as the 916 or the 1098, nor in my view, the 999 (or at least no prettier).
I don't have a sheepskin overcoat stuffed with brown envelopes full of cash like a 1970's football club manager, sadly ! However, a wife that's cheap to keep, no kids and four cats makes for frugal living. I can stick this guy a deposit and pay for it over a year. It's in Oz so I can't import it without giving that flat head chancellor stacks of cash for a while anyway. It belongs to a director of Bimota Oz, hand built for him, to his specs and never ridden. I just couldnt spend 30k on a bike. If I had 30k i'd spend it on my mortgage. 20yrs ago i'd have spunked it on beer and sex. Fuck this bollocks and just buy the fucking thing will ya. :biggrin:
