Fork seals

  1. Anyone had any problems with fork seals? I noticed a slight, fine oil mist on mine by the top yoke this morning. Off to the dealer now and will ask about the engine-cut-out plug-in at the same time.

  2. Wassatden?

  3. some Multis are prone to cutting out without warning when coasting in gear with the clutch in. Apparently there's a plug-in upgrade for the ECU.

  4. Mine has done it twice by the way.

  5. I had problems with forks.
Brought the bike to dealer who ordered a new sealing and fitted it 2 weeks later (under warranty of course).
Long length operation: a whole day for my GT as apparently The Skyhook is still kinda new technology!

Get yours checked, some oil could leak into the breaks and you don't want that
And think about a courtesy bike in case :)

  6. Had fork seals done on my 2010 earlier this year. No idea of cost as was under warranty at the time.
It's not too big of a job on the ohlins.
