  1. Potential for wet race again according to weather predictions at the circuit.

  2. Cal did well! :upyeah:

  3. He's doing so consistently well all year too, wish he'd kept the nick name Gnasher, it suits him so well ... I suspect a lot of us will still refer to him as Gnasher :)

I'm looking fwd to tomorrows race.

  4. Would love to have Cal on the Ducati, his aggressive style would make for interesting races!

It should be a great race tomorrow, let's hope Cal keeps the tyre wear under control till the end of the race

  5. Yep, I'll be rooting for Cal tomorrow and all year now, but I'd like to see him stay with Yamaha and get a works Yam if he can, he's at home on that bike as Rossi was, its like it was meant to be.

So far this year he's mostly got the better of Dovi ... if he carrys on like this ... Much more important people than us are bound to notice.

One thing Rossi has always done well is manage tyre wear IMHO, if Cal can learn that particular skill, he's well on the way.

  6. I think Cal will be on the factory Yam next year!
Honda are about to offer Lorenzo a very large sum of cash which Yamaha can't match.

I bet it will be alot more than they offered Stoner, Now that will piss him off!!

  7. I doubt it would, I think he's quite a content man nowadays and money isn't his motivation.

Personally I'd like Rossi to stay at Ducati for at least another year and for Cal to go there so that at least by the time Rossi gos ducati would of at least had to continue the investment, unfortunately that would mean Hayden having to go unless they ran 3 bikes.

  8. Wet practice and some fallers, should liven things up for the races :)

  9. Wet in warm up this morning and plenty of crashes.

  10. Anybody watch Moto3? The race for second was immense!

  11. You are probably right, but I cant help but think if Honda do sign Lorenzo with their blank cheque book for next year, its just another act of cover all bases for their vision of dominance .... if that happened I'd guess Lorenzo sold out too, but who could blame him?

The more I think about it, the more I think Rossi should stay with Ducati through thick or thin for his remaining 2 year two wheeled career too, I still think he can get a first on the Ducati, one way or another, especially after recent events ... I think Rossi has made this his achievable goal now, rather than try to re-live his glory days with Ducati.

Its a wise retirement plan IMHO, but oh Boy I can feel his frustration too at times.

    Interesting times ahead.

  12. Having just watched the amazing Moto 2 race I can't wait for Luthi, Marquez etc to make the switch.

Personally I love watching Luthi ride, Marquez is very smooth, almost Lorenzo smooth but Luthi rides a bit like stoner, very big on backing it in and sliding it on the way out. For a Swiss bloke he's bloody good!

  13. Yes, it was a fantastic race wasn't it :upyeah:

  14. I knew Crutchlow reminded me of someone. It's Robbie Williams. Cheeky chappie. Do they come from the same place? Accent sounds similar (but when it's north of Brum I get confused).

  15. Please don't associate a guy like Cal with Robbie Williams.

    Please.

  16. OMG ... Ben Spies

EDIT: Its early to say, but poor Ben (Mr Nice guy) might have blown his chances for a future Factory Yamaha ride, right there ... I hate to say it, but he was always overrated.

  17. Lorenzo all over Stoner ... again

This is interesting, Lorenzo is taking heed of Rossi tactics, he knows Stoner slide em style wears out the tyres quick

  18. Nice to see Pedrosa in front, but for how long ... Oh i do feel for Ben :(

  19. 8 laps to go, I think Lorenzo for the win, Danni does it more for the salary ... If Honda can afford that, let them invest in more talent, Dani has had his day IMHO

6 laps to go, this is good
