So what have you done today..?

  1. Nice day here today, none of the forecast rain arrived so I managed to cut the grass and pop the fairings off and clean behind them. (grass was cut after the photo was taken!)

Front of the engine certainly displays signs of 30,000 miles and 17 years of use, needs to come out of the frame, be stripped and painted, I'll let the next owner do that!

Off soon a for ride out to Hein Gericke on the A40 for a cup of tea and browse, "Strictly" later so a nice evening in with the family, so all in all not a bad Saturday

  2. I've had a pig of a day with problems with my olds and the home they're in. For £1325 a week I expect them to be looked after properly

However tonight should be better as I'm off to see Mark Chapman (front man for the Levellers) and Dan Donnelly in Illingworth near Halifax. :upyeah:

  13. Didn't go to Boxhill. Cleaned bike instead then went for a blast around some of my fave local roads to dry it off. Next job is probably a good spraying with ACF-50.

  15. Last time I worked in Llandudno it was full of scousers...

Attacked the guzzi's petrol tank with wet and dry and a rattle can, and didn't like the look of what I saw. Quite a few tiny rust bubbles under the paintwork, I've taken a lot of it back to the metal and rust treated, but I'm gonna need to seal the inside of the tank. Anyone got a recommendation for a good rust treatment/sealer?

  16. :-(. But it's the only estate with a oak interior

  17. Petseal is the usual thing to use however there have been problems with it flaking off and you must never recoat over a previous seal.

May be worth asking these guys or if your flush get them to sort it out
