  1. Even if I did trust Haynes manuals, there's no effing way I'm lugging my bl**dy great PC out to the workshop every time I want to do an oil change......

  3. i first bought one for a Suzuki 100n about 35 years ago, gloss paper, proper step by step pictures and they had taken apart the bike to do the manual.

Fast forward 15 years I had bought a Suzuki 250 in a box, proper nuts and bolts and gears and cogs all loose and used a Haynes to put it back together and get it running.

Now the paper is crap, the pictures rubbish and the web has better info, IMO And what about the Haynes manual for Man!

They will go the way of Yellow pages and the phone book.

  4. I only have one left, imaginitively titled 'Suzuki GS/GSX 1000/1100/1150 4-valve fours'. Not so much as a thumb print on it. Appreciating classic. Yours for £1000...

  5. Huh...............I'm already on 12 different tablets............................I don't need another.............

  6. They always got me out of trouble. In fact after buying a few Clymer manuals I'd say I far preferred the Haynes ones.

  7. Ive got a Haynes manual for every bike ive ever owned, with the exception of the 1098. I was really hoping that now that the 848 run had stopped, they'd produce one. Not to be then. Personally Ive found the Clymer manuals pretty good too, but they are around £30 and hardly cover any recent models. Thank heavens for the internet and official bootlegged copies of the tech manuals :upyeah:
