Exhausts

  1. You should be fine. The only thing that had to be done on mine to remove the cat, was to loosen the header pipes to give a bit more 'wiggle room' to get it off. Fitting the Mivv decat pipes was simple, so I'd imagine that the LV link pipe will be the same. You'll love it I'm sure!

  2. Blimey... Bob/Boomer, where did you get your QDs from? Bob, if memory serves you organised something on the Ducatisti site....choices choices... Hmmm.

  3. Finn, completely unrelated to exhausts, but in your pictures, is that a cut down touring screen?

  4. Bob, organised a bit of a group buy for some intrested partys on the old Ducatsti forum

Here is the link to the sight we bought from

    Spare Shack

Sorry i cant remember the guys name, maybe Bob can...?

    P.S great piece of kit!

  5. Thanks Bob ... Thanks Boomer :upyeah: Now.... QD or LV? Hmmm, that and persuading the missus that a new exhaust is a good idea.. The original end can is back on for now (connected to the Mivv pipes), so I'll give the Termi Stubby a clean, and we will see.

  6. LV pipe arrived today, looks good. I now need to wait until a week Saturday to get it fitted

  7. Excellent news.. :upyeah: Be sure to tell us how it looks and sounds, and of course the obligatory photos...

  8. Yes, touring screen cut down with jigsaw..

  9. Nice.. :upyeah: How do you find it? And how tall is it? ..... Apologies to everyone for hijacking the thread and asking about a screen.

  11. Interesting. But not my taste. Hopefully the standard pipe will fit perfectly into the LV Decat pipe. Really looking forward to hearing it when done

Has anyone got the LV decat pipe and standard can?

  12. Off to get the Decat pipe fitted tomorrow. As excited as a fat kid in a sweet shop How sad is that?

  13. Remember to let us know what it's like...

  14. Just back from getting the LV Decat pipe fitted. Everything went together perfectly and the mechanics reckon its a quality piece of kit. They were a bit apprehensive as they've had some poorly made and fitting stuff from other manufactures.

Went home the 'long' way. First thoughts... It's feckin fantastic!!! The whole bike 'feels' much better. Difficult to explain what I mean, but it no longer feels strangled and reacts much quicker.

It's pretty loud but no louder that the full termi on my hyper with the baffle out. The bike sounds the way I think it should - I'm well chuffed.

The complete thing cost £397 for the pipe and £132 for fitting by Ducati Glasgow. A bargain I think.

  15. Looks like a nice bit of kit....glad you like it. There are many options for decating, and it's difficult to make a choice, but you're happy, so that is all that matters. Decat is definitely the way to go, in my opinion.

  16. Thanks for sharing the info. I got my LV pipe on Ebay from Italy and will try and get my bike in to Ducati Glasgow this week. Cant wait to experience the results. Hope it's not too loud, really I'm looking for a nicer sound, a wee bit more power and to get rid of that 2 ton cat!

  17. Ah... It is pretty loud, some might say, very
