1981, SD900 Darmah sport. rode it to Venice summer of '81, called at the factory in Bologna for a look around on the way back, they had 2 benches on the go at the time building the 500 vertical twin.
This is my baby. Only been a Ducati owner for 2 weeks. Before that Kawasakis all the way. Had to chop in 3 bikes for this plus some wedge. But Georgeous and worth it.
Here's my first Ducati and also my first European tour. All 3 of us rode from Nottingham down to Montpelier and back again, the best bike trip ever, full race tuck for hours on the French motorways and more luggage than bike pmsl, quality week that was. Mines the s2r, can't find any other pics of it yet, must be on another hd
Damo: I keep forgetting you also live in Shittingham, we'll have to hook up mate. JMC: Let the haters hate....owning a Ducati is as much about sniffing it as it is about riding... fekk me, i did 400 miles in four years until this summer...then banged 4000 on the bitch...
ill need a bike first mate, then again I could put the R1 on the road, or you could take me pillion on the tricolore, that'd test your suspension out
My Nephew, in Italy had a Malaguti Foggy rep scooter, not a Ducati but a Ducati paint job. I believe they made a few race-inspired creations, presumably with Ducati's consent - not sure if that counts?...
This was my 996 I bought new in 2000, This was it 3 months after taking delivery, and a small accident on the Nürburgring
Lol, luckily no. I hit the Armco at about 130kph and the bike went through a fence and into a wood. The last corner on the Ring before the home straight But she looked ok after a quick polish
