Philip island compulsory bike change

  1. Thats not how I saw it. I saw marquez look down the racing line before he came out on track and both Lorenzo and Pedrosa were there in view. He did it deliberately to get onto track in front of the Yamaha .

  2. I disagree.

  3. that was a joke fig.

  4. I've got a hangover, you'll have to be a lot more obvious today I'm afraid.

  5. Well if you watch this replay, 30 seconds in (after the advert) MM is just starting to leave pit lane , IMO I can't actually see him checking at all, JL and DP are in clear view coming over the hill and mm isn't looking over his shoulder upon exit / clearing the line.

im not out to hang the lad but it is what it is, if I was on a track day and pulled straight out trying to get on the racing line I'd expect a kicking after the session from the riders I just put myself in front of.

Race direction might not do much but ultimately as pedrosa says riders on track have priority as they're racing, personally I think both are very easily in view way before he actually gets on track

  6. Just before mm gets the front wheel up accelerating hard onto the track he looks over his shoulder. JL and DP are clearly in his view.

  7. Only because that is an edited clip. He took a good look as he was coming down pit lane, you'll have to check BBC red button to see it probably.

  8. And before that, just as the track comes into his view - and the track was empty then.

  9. Like I've said , this isn't a lynching of Marquez! I'm just saying that he doesn't help himself at all and never has throughout his career.

irrespective of him looking as he's coming out of pit lane, as he's on the exit slip he's not looking anymore and both riders are there. That's quite a distance to still cover as the video shows.

its like somebody in a car pulling out of a junction, they might look right and nobody be there but by the time they've taken up position on the road a poor bloke on his bike is wedged in the side of their car.

he may of looked, but if he did he looked far too early and didn't bother checking again, however if he did check again and see them then he's put himself there on purpose thus causing a likely collision.

  10. I watched it Live on the official motogp web site, MM did know they were coming, he'd had a good look before he exited the lane and even the commentators said he's having a good look, he deffo knew they were coming.

  11. Well in that case at the end of a 2km straight and knowing first hand they'd be doing 200kph on corner entry he's a silly boy.

  12. You can disagree all you like you will still be wrong.

  13. that's rite I agree.

  14. Aye, he saw them coming and he should have stayed well out the way.

i hope he gets more points and has to start the next race from the back of the grid.

he has had too many points come his way through his antics.

if he wins the championship by less than 5 points there will be hell to pay with Yamaha going nuts about the Jerez disgrace.

  15. That's exactly how I saw it, the track was clear when he looked - things happen very quickly at 200 mph. Interesting opinion on the speed limited area being too long leaving the speed differential too great.

  16. Thankyou. I thought I was going mad for a moment there.

  17. It's not my opinion on the speed limit area being too long, by the way, that's what Steve Parrish said, and he knows what he's talking about.

  18. Just watched it again, paused, play, paused play, he is looking when they come into view, just before the camera switches angle.
He must have know that they would be there abouts anyway, plus heard them screaming down the straight.

  19. hes a dangerous little f*cker
    completely unprofessional
