Aluminium

  1. Any ideas where I can get a piece of ally from, approx 80mm wide x 300mm long and 10 -12mm thick? (or two bits 150mm long)

  2. Al ...Why don't you try your friendly scap metal man.. Most will sell you a piece for little more than scrap price....

  5. Yep, thanks....thought of all them.............but that means I have got to go out in the cold and rain.........:wink:

    It was seeing Gilp's bike in its state of undress that got me thinking about something....

    I bought some ally on ebay and started making the can brackets, Thanks again for the drawings etc.

  9. I suppose you want to see how to mount the rear footrests now? I have to have them fitted for the MOT according to my tester, but the original way I did was bl**dy awful......much better now.

    Don't forget my cans are different to yours, so my brackets may not suit your bike...

  10. Made some hardboard jobbies first and they fitted the cans fine mate :upyeah:
