Which road bike has the best power-to-weight ratio?

  1. Not strictly true. I'm as fat as a house and I much prefer riding lighter bikes. They make as much difference to a bloater's riding as they do to a skinny runt.

  2. zzr1400 10 plate £5 and half grand = cheap power just add yoshi end cans K&N High flow Air Filter Dynojet Power Commander get it dyno'd under a grand for these mods
Ram Air system at peak performance dyno are unable to replicate without the dyno being in a wind tunnel
    (178+13)+ 13% = 220 Bhp - at crank so rear wheel = 212
220 /215 power to weight 1000 Bhp per Tonne.
will out accerlerate anything bmw1000rr, blades, gixxers & paniuglys anything as long as its in a straight line
astronaut 15 stone in full kit fold mirrors in find a closed runway do 205 mph its madness !!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Not as much as getting your jaw wired up would save you.

  4. You are not getting any power increase from ram air.

  5. Why only fat rich blokes ? I'm only 70kg, 51 tomorrow, I run 50km a week, even with nighttime temperatures of 40 deg.

Some people, like many of my colleagues, drop a fortune on a Porsche. Not for me. Yes, I'm lucky to have a good job but I'm only ever one flight away from losing it. Any screw-up and I'm gone. So, what do I do for relaxation ? I ride my Ducati bikes. Yes, 54k is a lot of money and I probably can't ride it any faster than my Panigale S Tricolore. However, opening the garage door, firing up the beast and riding the bitch hard will more than make up for it ! Plus, this is something I will never sell.

  6. just lunched its front sprocket today scary thought the gear box had gone but all that torque and power had smashed the sprocket ,,,,,,note to self never get lazy on chain adjustment !

  7. My old TZ 350 has more than 75 bhp for 102 kgs. Not bad for a 33 year old bike!

  8. Well, the "quiz" was about road bikes.
I meant it 100% stock... just like you'd get it from the dealer.

It's obvious that mods influence the figures and each bike has a different potential.
Like it's obvious that the rider's weight affects HP and torque.

...anyway, regardless of the power to weight stuff, that Superleggera thingy... is f*cking beautiful!
A true peace of art which every real ducatista dreams to have in their garage. Stop.
