A thicky question! On the front of my ducati 999 loom is a 12v take off socket...........is this 12v dc and would it be ok to use this to power an on board camera rather than the nasty clump of 8 batteries........
It won't be AC that's for sure! Many years ago when I had a bullet cam I ran the pack of batteries but also hardwired from the battery I think to the battery pack for the bullet cam without issue. HTH
