stomp grips

  1. I have used these Stomp grips before and been happy with the result (non slip/grip). BUT I have a concern If they for what ever reason had to be removed would they damage the paint ? would you be able to tell where they had been fitted. ? Or is it just a case of hair dryer and peel off, polish and NO marks. ? Lots of questions there.:rolleyes:
    Just trying to find out if anybody has removed any before I fit them to my New Mint 996.:upyeah:

  2. I have pulled them off quite a few bikes to swap them about on track bikes. Never damaged stock paint but pulled lumps out the filler and rattle can job on one bike.

    Hair dryer works well ( remembering the hot element / petrol fumes bit) and they can be stored for a while using grease proof paper.

    They kill leathers though but I need something on the SSie so much might look at the sealskin ones.

  4. Hair dryer on low heat. They peel off really easily, then polish to remove any adhesive residue.
