had a FZ6-S2, it was a cracking little bike shames it didn't take off, it shared a lot of bits from the earlierR6, but was real easy to ride, and loved to revved, this new bike has quite a few sinilarities
Let me be frank; its fucking hideous. I couldn't give a damn how good it is. If you can't sit and admire it with a drink after a decent ride it's a fail. It's right up there with the Honda CX500 as capable but wretchedly styled machines go. Oh, I forgot the Beemer K1300R freak thing too.
Just like the Bandit and that turned out okay. Personally, I think it just looks like a motorbike, nothing more, nothing less
well i think yamaha have got it spot on. it will get people biking again like the bandit did in the 90's biking is meant to be cheaper than car driving but stupid prices like 16 grand for a multi which out the reach for normal people i going to test ride one a touring version is rumoured could be a bargin and a money spinner for yam who have sold out all thier first batch
Going somewhere in a hurry, more like:wink: The price is right, the spec is right, the weight is oh so right. It'll sell by the bucketloads. Still a minger though. Miss what..?
So grim even the official pics were done with the flash turned off... I'd go as far to say that is the ugliest bike I've seen in my riding career. Even the fuglystrada looks sweet in comparison
I wouldn't say that. It's just that it's Special in a bad way. Was it designed by three different people in three very different places around the world?
Munter or not, I need to get a test ride on one of them. All the press tests have been ultra positive.
The initial batch are at a special price it would seem. After that batch is gone the price will take a sizable jump according to BIKE mag.
Saw my first one in the flesh on Sunday, parked up so I managed to have a close up look, it was in a bit of a dodgy colour scheme, (I don't think I would have blue wheels) but was getting a fair bit of interest.
