  1. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I ordered mine twoo weeks ago been told delivery is probably 1st week December :(

  2. done 300 miles on it. it is what it is. its good fun :)

  3. What did you have before Dave?

  4. I have a HP4 Carbon, Hayabusa, GSXR1000, CRF 250 and I traded my Hypermotard SP in for the 899 (1 Ducati is enough)

  5. LOL you greedy fecker, well I must be nuts then two Ducatis well one at mo till the 899 arrives

  6. I have nice tiles in my garage, I don't like puddles of oil on them LOL!

  7. Oooooh errrrrrr I say, Well my last 6 bikes have been Ducatis and so far touch wood I aint spilled no oil and they have all been very reliable, I know its hard to believe but they are a lot better now than the older models.

  8. Im also picking mine up on sat and looking at the forecast we are going to get wet

  9. Thanks guys for nothing, but saying that I have a 2hr slot booked on Sunday and its supposed to be dry :)

Any one had any minor mods done to the standard shipped bike yet?

  10. I've ordered the Ducati carbon tail tidy and pillion seat cover

  11. Mine has R&G tail tidy (I don't like the long carbon tidy) and I have a seat cover. Just got to sort out the rear sets now, standard ones are uber shite!

  12. What rear sets are you thinking about Dave, noticed on my road test my feet were slipping about quite a bit

  13. Mines having evotech tail tidy, replacing seat with cowel, having rear foot rests removed, ACF treated and all over ventureshield. that should protect it from the british weather for a while, and the bloody loose chippings they insist on laying down on the roads.

  14. not looked at rear sets yet, I assume ones for its big brother will fit? was waiting for someone on here to pipe up! I only really got it bad Tuesday night. When I left the bike meet, it was dry but I had to walk through a puddle, feet were all over the place in the pegs, I had to stop and scrape my feet dry. this will be deadly in the wet!

  15. When I took the demo out last weekend it was dry and pegs were still a bit slippy really need to get knurled ones for better grip

  16. ...all this talk of the 899 is making me envious....still in love with my evo and multi for now, you got any pics of the new termis Vince?

  17. No Vince, only the ones I have seen on the Ducati website, oh and saw a 1199 out at boxhill with termi's on clearly sporting the designer label and termi logo so you can easily see if its got termi's on it when stationary bit harder when its moving but no doubt the sound will give it away :)
Don't be envious mate the Evo is still a quality piece of kit, and I still have to wait till december bevore I get my 899 thats the approximate delivery date the dealership has given me.

  19. I have ordered, seat cover and carbon tail tidy, rear bobbins, paddock stand(lightech)SL paintwork with gold rims.I love the lightech rear sets and will order some when funds allow.Rizoma rearsets look ok and a lot cheaper than the lightech ones but they are all well overpriced imo.

  20. Would really like to see it with the gold wheels, please post a photo of it when you've got it done?
