  3. I went out for my last ride today, it was only 6 degrees but no snow, took my bike to storage & adding some more goodies over this winter!

  8. Booked parking for Gatwick, made sure bank and card co know I'm off to spain just in case, now watching MGP qually before I trawl car showrooms looking for a deal on a new car for the missus

  10. Had breakfast with a girl who I'd cross the gates of hell to be with, but just likes me as a friend, picked some sloes, made sloe gin, got mildly drunk, went to sainsburys and bought an exceptionally awesome sandwich.......

  12. Yesterday I had a 2½ hour drive down to Burford near Witney in Oxfordshire to see my daughter, it was the first visit after she took a job down there a few months ago, lovely area but so flat.

  15. Played with my granddaughter this morning. Then went to an Arts market for a mooch.

    Then this afternoon I went to a fantastic olde English inn (more than 350 years old) and had a fantastic lunch with SWMBO, #2 son and wife and granddaughter. I love autumn days like today :upyeah:

  17. Remembrance Day ride out to Duxford, comfort cafe for lunch, home and took the speed triple for a quick spin ! (4th time this year)
    Gave my son a driving lesson and put up the other shelving rack in the garage this evening. Took the dog out tonight and met Jack Frost, scraper at the ready for tomorrow morning ! Polished off a Toblerone with a glass of milk and off to bed very soon. :upyeah:

  18. Rode my bike to Remembrance service it was sunny :)
    But was the first time this year out on the bike I felt cold !
    I had my merino wool on !

    And another heated grips controller broke ! Just died after I used it about 3 times :(
    4 th this year on both bikes :( :( not pleased with these controllers at all.

  19. Spent the day staring at spreadsheets trying to make the red numbers go away. Wouldn't be so bad but it wasn't me who put them there - I just have to make them go away.

  20. Worked. Monday night is bike night for my local club. 2 bikes tonight and neither of them was mine ! :rolleyes:
    light van and car club during the winter !
