I think from the team's point of view; do they stick with an older rider with little chance of taking the title, or go with the boss and take on a fresh challenge? I know which one I'd choose, as much as I like Rossi...
im with you on that, if you could have a chance of reliving that feeling of helping a fresh young talent topple some well respected riders then I'd be off like a shot. I bet JB's phone is glowing red hot. i think rossis entire team could effectively change next year but only if JB moves on somewhere else and the boys move with the boss
As far as I'm concerned, after this year's debacle they shouldn't even be going to Phillip Island next year.
i think Rossi is a legend and sacking Burgess is just business its only a job ...Val has same bike as Lorenzo and isnt delivering wins... Ie Rossi isnt fast enough anymore ! people bang on about age ..but just look at BSB old Shakey Burns is very competitive on the best current bike Rossi hasnt got the edge anymore he blames every thing else except himself
Am I the only one thinking Rossi's a total shitbag binning JB the day before the final race, publicly, the way he did. Bad form.
His hand was forced, the story had been leaked. Sure it seems harsh, but top class racing is a rarified atmosphere. The title winner is changing half his team too...
Well..... You can't polish a turd can you,and I'm afraid rolling it in red glitter seems to have no effect either
i understood they could fix it in minutes…………..and they changed it beyond recognition……………and still it didn't work more like sewerage than a turd…..
To be honest to JB and the team, it isn't them rding the bike, they take the feedback and try to fix it. Besides, I think its pretty much well known a lot of the issues couldn't be fixed due to overall design, or so we're told.
I know Damo:wink: So let's look seriously at where Burgess could end up, assuming he carries on working. Redding has to be our dream pairing, but what else is available to him? Perhaps he can sort out Bautista's suspension, or squeeze a bit more out of Bradl's Honda. Perhaps he'd like to step back from the white heat of factory racing (and a decent wage...) and lend some support to a CRT team...
yep, Redding it is then in all seriousness I can see that working for Honda as well. Think about it, the better their new customer bike does the better they'll do, maybe they'd fund JB and let him tinker with it, Redding gets the benefit, then in year two give him a factory bike to play with, Honda win, JB gives two fingers to Yamaha and Redding wins multiple world titles ..... It's the only option
