  1. Will this fit an 1100evo hyper....? If it does I'll take it...

  2. Anyone know what manufacture this one is?
Rather cleverly it has a tiny race bearing in the bottom...

  3. Thats an Evoluzione slave cylinder, sold by the now defunct Evoluzione Cyclesports in the US.

  4. Is it me or are those bolts about 3 times the length of normal ones Nelson?!?

  5. I think theyre the ones from his neck.

  6. Wounded...

  7. They are.
They go through the whole cylinder rather than just tabs....If you follow...?

  8. Ah yes, that picture explains it all.
All of the other units I've seen have recessed holes and mounting tabs that are set further back, so need shorter bolts.

  9. Well that's the bolt mystery solved then...:upyeah:

Not ridden the bike with it on yet, but all seems good up on the paddock stand.
Went on with very little fuss. I had an oberon last year for the other bike and I could not get the fecker to work for me (ratios all wrong) ended up selling it!

  10. Sometimes they won't work depending on which engine you have and how worn your clutch pack is.

To get the less effort on the lever they make the slave piston bigger. The problem with this is that you need to push more fluid to make the piston move the same amount as the standard (smaller) piston version. So to get your clutch to disengage properly you have to pull the lever in further.

If your clutch is already near its limit of wear tolerance it just makes things worse, and can end up with the whole lot not working at all.

Now that Ducati are starting to fit cable clutches to their bikes, I'm wondering what they've done and if it's possible to retrofit it...
