Fairing panel for the Tricolore and 2 sets of original grips for the Bostrom. And some company for the bikes that live in the garage.
What are the symptoms? A friend of mine had a vw bora with a vibration. It bounced from garage to garage as no one could agree on anything other than it was something in the driveline. It took me about 30 seconds to diagnose a cracked piston, causing a misfire on boost. Don't pay the garage for any work which doesn't fix the problem - if they have fitted parts after a misdiagnosed problem, it's their fault not yours.
5 series estate - like a boat with wheels - going to take it to France next month see how much booze I can fit in (Chunnel I'm not quite that stupid)
Go inland to aldi in hesdin. There is a very reasonable red wine called Le cantonnier for €1.25 a bottle. There is also a passable lager called karlsquell (4.8%) which is a staggering €0.28 per (330ml) can. Hesdin is about an hour in land, there are two ways to get to it, you either go just past Le torquet and turn left, or go down the A26 to junction 4 (about a €3 toll) then follow the signs for hesdin. It takes a little finding, the alternative is Carrefour in city Europe which has red wine at €1.65 a bottle. I'd advise taking a Boyle opener and some disposable glasses and buying one bottle to taste in the car park before committing to many bottles you may not like
Just had a load of powder coated parts come back for the CBR - combined with some parts for a mate, ended up getting it all done for £30 each!
I just bagged a spare screen for my 999, allegedly signed by Gregorio Lavilla More likely it was signed by some guy with an EBay account, but hey - it was only £20ish....
I hope you have more joy with those Harris radial brackets than I did. When I took mine to JHP the disks didn't line up right on the caliper pads.Only way round this was to skim the front wheel hub which I wasn't prepared to do.
How was the GSXR on track Bradders? Hope you didn't break a peg with an off?! Edit. Just caught up with the other thread. Hope you're OK
