After this happened to my old 749R (which was written off see below......£6000 to replace just the fairings) I decided to buy some spares.. I ended up with two spare sets... And a set on my new bike.... Repair bill was quoted as £22,000. If your bike goes down on the road then it will be almost certainly written off. So for less than the cost of a brand new carbon nose cone... I'm asking for £1100.... For left and right side and a carbon nose cone. From a low mileage bike... Fairings can be seen before purchasing. I'm holding on to one set for myself. they are a work of art.
Hi mate whats the condition of the fairing your selling are they mint? Or are there any marks on them ? If so is it possible to get some pics up of any marks etc? Where abouts are you baised ? Are you a bit flexable on the price ? Cheers

I live in Hartley Wintney Hampshire now but still commute to London - no longer in Putney. Both sets are in good condition with only minor stone chips on leading front edge where they join behind the front wheel. They where from low mileage bikes. Just for reference to get these in brand new condition I've been quoted £130 by Altamura. I will get some better pictures up. Not a lot of movement on the price, posting due to the size won't be cheap. I consider this a fair price for what I paid but come take a look if you're seriously interested.
Toyota actually.... my right shoulder hit the door and I removed her wing mirror.. She clearly wasn't a user of mirrors anyway!!!
bloody toyotas id be interested but it then my bike would be unfair, misleading and unfeasibly quick for a 749 as mines a 999.
