Hi Guys, Just bought a bike, not running hopefully because of wrong ECU I need to pick it up in east london on thursday and drop it off to Ray at Rosso Corse. Would anyone be able to help as it seems all vans are F-in rented in all london rental companies or cost a fortune to rent.
If you run out of options, simple van hire in Milton Keynes are cheap. Bit of a trek to get here though
What bike u got Lucasz? (just trying to anticipate what questions and parts you will be needing over the next few weeks:wink K.
A 2002 m620IE with 695 engine, throttle bodies, loom. Still using 620IE ECU, clocks and keys so I hope that it the reason it is not running. 620 t self looks nice and clean while 695 engine apparently is form early 2006 bike with 6k miles on the clock. Hmmm It might be good commute. For now need to get it going plus I guess termis, open airbox and nice fuel filter. Gearing on 620 one down is good idea yes?
Sorted. The Monster was duly conveyed from E11 to Wembley. By the looks of it, it will require a fair bit of work doing before ever it runs, though. Good luck with that, Lukacz.
Thx Pete, much obliged. Yes fair bit but not as much as it looks. All bolts now in and tightened up. Loom running better, tomorrow just need to cable tie it in place. Got most of the lights to work, found funny things. The guy plugged in what he could, what he could not he ignored. Sorted some of those as well. Tomorrow will make significant progress and from then will just need ECU, clock and key/barrel.
Ok then as you have a very high opinion of me where do you live again so I can live up to it? .... No wait you sold your 848 Crap
You wish you could have an 848...never let me down and I always had a pro look after it. You should try it
Yes yes heard it all bladders not in mood for another one. Suffice to say no matter what money was spent on it would not look so nice after my use as I actually use my bikes ...... always. They are a machines designed to be used not polished. I noticed that this forum sucks even more then the old one now with all the snobbing.
