Don't agree with that! This series has been very exciting, except for the Lords Test which only had one team in it. First test could have gone either way, 4th ditto. 3rd would have been won by Oz, without the rain.
+1 on the above. Has kept me glued to the radio (well, BBC radio app), and the BBC TMS has been legendary (never thought it would ever be really good after the loss of Johnners, but as Adam Hills put it "...TMS... You are the rock and roll of cricket!")
I'm just hoping Blowers is back for the Oval. It's definitely one notch down without him but TMS is quite simply the best programme on the radio. Ever.
Its okay the next Ashes series starts in a few weeks when normal service will be resumed Take that Troy Bayliss
i was there…………..really funny and good sport from the Aussies in the crowd taking their medicine …….shame.
So, here we go again. It all kicks off on Thursday. - Come on Aussies, surely you can make a game of it this time. Home turf, your national sport and we've got an iffy keeper for you. - You definitely ought to win but it should be close. I hear one of our favourite bowlers has upped his game recently and is likely to get picked. No pressure then. .......all together now. "He bowls to the left, he bowls to the right, that Mitchel Johnson.....his bowling is shite."
TBH they made a perfectly good game of it last time, except for one test. We were pretty lucky or if not lucky, we only edged it, despite the scoreline. Everything to play for.
Could be/hoping for a closely fought and well balanced England whitewash. Now if the team were full of eleven Yorkshiremen........ ( makes diary note to check back and see if words/eaten, will make a lovely New Years snack.....)
Just in case anyone's interested, highlights are being shown on Freeview on Pick TV (channel 11) from 10pm-11pm each night.
