Not at the show, I've been and done it, it's pretty good. I did RedTreads as well in Spain which was just unbelievable.
How many do you need to sit on? The 1199 's shown were all different models. there is only one version of the 899
I'm up there on Wednesday with a couple of mates, hopefully mid week with kids at school, it should be a bit quieter.
The show was good, i'll get something written up for the front page for those not fortunate enough to go. Took loads of pics but im still not back home some havent been able to upload them. The 1199 SL was certainly one of the highlights but, and it pains me to say this, this most important bike at the show, was the new Honda VFR I also dont recall seeing MV Augusta there either, which is shame. I was all prepared to ridicule their new Multistrada clone
Massively disappointed that MV aren't even represented there by a dealer or anything! Still haven't had chance to sit on a F3. For me, my notes from the show!: - the Morgan 3 wheeler is really cool, if a little snug, have a sit in it! - the r-nine T BMW is a huge let down. -899 is stunning, lovely to sit on, although possibly border line too small for me, which is kinda how I found the 1199 (obv). - dissapointed in Suzuki and Yamaha. - liked the VFR800, think that honda fans will like its facelift. - hated the CBR1000rr SP it's 15k!! U can build those components onto a year old new shape blade for MUCH less!!! - couldn't find the bargain I was looking for, all dealers were selling stuff as expensive as on thee website if it was a reasonably top of the range product.
