So you won't want to know that ******* is provisionally on pole, ******** is 2nd, ******** is 3rd and ******* is 4th with 2 mins of superpole 2 left
So annoying That happened couple weeks ago on Facebook not by friends but the bloody ducati page listed the race winner etc grrr
Spoiler alert! Fantastic first race which can only warm the cockles of any ducatista's heart! WSBK is the sport to be watching this weekend. So much more interesting than MotoGP. I am becoming an increasingly large fan of the 1198. When you think that this bike is fighting for victories against the best of BMW, Aprilia, Honda and Kawasaki - not bad for a twin which is supposedly an obsolete technology. Look at how many Ducatis finished in the top 10! So do we really need the Panigale? It's not as good looking, it's less traditional, and maybe doesn't have the same bottom end on the road (not ridden either - feel free to tell me I'm wrong) as the 1198. It must be a better track bike than the 1198, or they wouldn't have developed it. But on the road? I feel that as some stage I will become an 1198 owner. WSBK is doing its marketing thing as far as I am concerned. Make sure you tune into race no. 2!
Cracking race1! If only every race were like that... Interesting how the Brit challenge just failed in the latter half of the race... Tyres or not, everyone has to deal with the same conditions. Glad to see 4 years later, the 1098R still has it!
Surely there is no more talk of combining WSBK with MotoGP. Why ruin a brilliant series with a second rate one?
whoops.... there went the championship.... time to withdraw from GP and start focussing on WSBK .. looks like the dominance is gone for the moment... BMW/APRI/HONDA/KAWA are all getting in shape... first time since ??? oh, that has never happened before....

Race 1 was a good `un, race 2 was ok. Not seen the WSS yet. What I did notice (and this might just be me) was old Jack B on eurosport, I like him but he seemed to take waaaaaaaay too much pleasure when Giugliano went down. "at last, we now have a race on!" What the deuce??? Giugliano was doing nothing wrong. Up to now I`ve been cheering for "the bike". Think I now have a new favourite rider.
Good tight racing although 2 wasn't as good as 1 and some of he comments from Jack B re Guintoli ( or whatever his name is on Dook 2) were a little harsh, especially as he seemed relived and happy when he crashed! Few times i was as shouting at the tiv ' it is racing mate!' The panini was going well n superstocks part 1, shame about part 2!
Glad to see it wasn`t just me that thought Jack B was being harsh towards that rider. Just re watched the crash again and he did say "at last, we now have a race on." He also called him the dangerman, perhaps I`m taking this out of context but all I saw was hard racing.
Even though I adore Chubby Checa, that Giugliano is a bit of alright - I likes his style, too
