  4. Rob, Andy here's a suggestion for a small improvement!

You know how you scroll down the page as you read all the posts and replies....then, especially with long threads, you have to scroll alllllll the way back to the top of the page to click mutleystrada to find the next interesting posting/thread....

Well why not put a link back,as you have at the top of the page at the bottom of the page too, then it will stop the need for all this scrolling up and down business as it will be unneccesary!

Now I am dangerous with bits and bytes, so have no idea how simple or easy this may be, but it would be a small improvement :))

  5. You mean like the "TOP" button right at the bottom left of the page beside the archive and contact us buttons.

  6. Ok clever chops....never knew the top button existed....it's cool now Andy/rob, ignore my post! Thanks nzdave for teaching this south African something, now if only your side could learn to play rugby!

  7. Check the world rankings Bud, and who holds the RWC ? We're gonna kick your arse in the Tri-nations ( I hope )

  8. Thanks Fritz for raising the comment anyway.....and Dave for the answer :D

Post here for suggestions / feedback / comments related to the Multistrada section of the forum specifically please.........but for comments related to the forum as a whole:

  10. How about a route sharing thread, although i think the forum would not allow itn or gpx file extensions ?

  11. Could we see if it is possible to add the .itn & .GPX ( i think that is correct for Garmin) file extensions to the list of allowed formats for attachments

  12. Might be best just to add ZIP files if not already an allowed file format.
.itn for TomTom and yes .gpx for Garmin
....drop Rob a PM if you haven't heard anything in a couple of days......I'm just about to jump on the bike for a few days away ;-)

  13. as it seems to come up so often, how about adding "oil" "tyres" and even "tax disc" to the 'Search Tag Cloud'? - preferably in the top left hand corner.

  14. On posting any new topic you should see the option below the content text area to add some Tags - as and when I read threads with a clear subject matter, if there aren't Tags already I do add suitable Tag text strings when I remember :D
I think that the Tags that appear in the Tag Cloud are simply the most commonly seen Tags for threads.

  15. I'm no expert in the best way to bring the attention of previous threads on a similar subject to a member about to post a question Andy, but whatever system is in place on this Forum it doesn't seem to work as well as others I have visited is all I am saying. It depends on how Technical and Informative Rob wants to make this place i guess and i'm sure the software and storage space etc is a factor but I think you could do a lot worse than follow the 'Ducati.ms' lead here. Re: 'Tag Cloud' I didn't realise that the content was totally automated with no provision for inserting words manually? (I wouldn't have any truck with that.. :))

  16. Chris, I will pass your comments on to Rob.......don't take my understanding of how thing work as gospel, I'm no expert and I'm not familiar with the 'back end' of the forum software - no doubt there are configuration setting that can be adjusted / different controls activated etc.
As far as using the Search facilities goes personally I've not found the facility here noticeably different to the ducati.ms forums.......we should remember that the ducati.ms forums have had years to be developed / evolve.

Thanks for bringing this up :upyeah:
