  1. Just a heads up,Ducati have just released some nice grippy footpegs for the 899/1199,direct replacement pegs only, they look nice with ducati embossed into the casting,i belive they come as 2 pairs, rider and pillion, approx cost £120,i have ordered a set and will have a couple going spare(not fitting the rear hangers),so if anyone wants a pair and split the cost 50/50 drop me a pm.

  2. I could be interested, do you have photo of them by any chance?

  3. Sorry no pics, only seen them on the screen at the dealers,it states footpeg set, with a pic of 4 footpegs,so we are assuming they come as a set of 4,but hey its ducati so who knows!.

  4. Hi mate , I've replaced mine with the oe pegs from a 1098r , nice and grippy & look the dogs !
They just fit as easy as owt , you could do with a new pair of E clips to do a proper job.
    :)

  5. Just had a search on DG website no mention of them on there.

  6. fitted the 1098r pegs on my 1098s and they are pure class. part numbers are posted in the 1098/1198 section.

  7. Rizoma for me and only £58ish

  8. dont mention slippy footpegs, a vlogger got flamed for mentioning it :s

  9. Just in case it was not clear in my first post £120 was for 4 pegs,so not to bad a price at £60 a pair, not 100% sure on exact price as dont know what/if any discount i will get.

  10. simmytt let me know when you get them as im still interested even though I haven't seen what they look like yet.

  11. Will do :upyeah:

  12. Given the amount of money we have spent, and the issues we have to put up with, slippery pegs being one of them. I don't see why they should not be changed foc during our next service, clearly the issue is now known and it should be a safety issue, I don't care what they look like its about having control of the machine, slippery pegs do not give total control and the outcome of that does not bear thinking about....I for one will be pushing my dealer to do it without charge.

i was going to change mine over the winter layup but I think I will sit tight and see what happens.

  13. I have to agree.

for Ducati to sell the bikes with frankly shite pegs and then have the Gaul to launch a replacement set of foot pegs only (something they're not known for) says that they've had/read enough complaints. But to whack a £120 charge on them is just taking the piss

  14. not that most do but winter runs to work can be interesting :s

  15. I have put this to my local dealer who supplied my Pani the other day but I am yet to receive a reply, I am guessing they are stroking their cooperate chins contemplating a response. I will keep you posted, if and when I get any retort.

  16. Will be interesting to see what their response is

  17. Might look like this perhaps.
