  1. Any keen cyclists on this forum that could recommend any cycles for bombing around country roads, on and off, this winter?

  2. Not me. I have had a MTB for 4 years. Used it 3 times when I first got it and sat on it for the first time again last Saturday.

  3. I ride a 'fixie' in the winter months but anything with tyres works.

  5. I used to race cross country, i have a Specialized FSR XC with a load of tweaks but dont get to ride as much as i would like.

    What is your budget what sort of riding will you be doing?

  7. Boardman hardtails are great at that price range, don't discount 2nd hand bikes either you can get some real bargains if you hunt around.

  8. buy a older 2nd hand Kona steel hardtail ideally an explosif or cinder cone
