England Have Scored. They will definately win Euro 2012 now.

  1. Kings of the square ball and the backwards pass. It was ever thus throughout my entire half century of existence. Don't be harsh on Hodgson. What's he supposed to do with a bunch of overpaid journeymen in a month? Or ever?
Of course, we could have had an attack of sorts and maybe will when the pit bull comes back - Rooney Defoe Walcott. Otherwise, it's about as interesting as watching paint dry - rather less so if it's the paint on your Ducati's tank. 10 guys behind the ball, no pressing, everyone strolling around. Zzzzzzzzzz.
I can't see us beating either Sweden or the Ukraine in the normal run of play.
My prediction: the second game will be like the first, but we will lose. In the third game, out of sheer desperation England will actually break into a trot, but it will be too late and we will be ejected amidst much wringing of hands and calls for Hodgson's instant dismissal.

  3. Yawn it was like watching paint dry I would rather put pins in my eyes

There was only one player in yellow he kept putting up a yellow flag or something like that was he the goalie?

  4. Tut!

Women eh, they know nowt!

That was one of the cheerleaders!

  5. Yes.

  6. There was only 11 players on the park, the tackling was woeful. Bring Back Jonny Wilkinson.

  7. Anyone else playing spot the pikey with the England car flag..?

  8. Ah....the Pikeys round here don't need flags, you can spot them a mile away....They all have big fancy 4x4's that no one else can afford!

  9. Come on Tim ...

  10. Well we won. Eventually. First half - we have all the possession but create only about 2 chances. Fortunately, the best one goes in. Second half - our defensive failings are shown up. But bringing on Walcott - one of the rare exciting game-changing players - changes the game. Strange that the journeyman Milner is preferred to start. To sum up - it's a bit like looking at a Premiership team lying 7th in the championship and never likely to win anything or qualify for Europe, playing a team lying about 15th. You expect them to win, but they might not and they aren't ever going to challenge for a top spot.
