which is where LA bikers appear to go to show off. Or fall off. Indulge your pillion fantasies here: With helmet off, pillion looks like this (can't embed protected Flickr pix) 03 21 10_1863-130 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! or this: Watch http://www.youtube.com/user/daridazero for riding videos!! | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Alternatively, you can watch some idiot rack up a huge garage bill here: From what I can work out, MickeyMouse seems to spend his time on Mulholland waiting for shit to happen. And it does!
Ive been a subscriber to his channel for a year or so now. Seems that no yanks know how to actually ride judging by some of the footage. He has some interesting vids with Jay Leno on various mega-exotic cars & bikes up there. What a guy
Some of them look pretty handy. But I still don't think it's wise to try dragging your knee on a dusty road lined with armco. It'll only end in tears sooner or later and frequently does. Added to which, you're right - there are an awful lot of people who just fall off for no particularly good reason. I suppose there aren't that many corners in much of the US, and the whole of LA is built up. No practice.
also check out this fella's channel Dedicated To All The Canyon Junkies - Johnny5sWorld - YouTube an not saying that cause im in the credits
seen one of his vids and you would swear there was something on the road as everyone's rear end was letting go at the exact same point. still a great stretch of road.
I'm not at all sure that all these bits were taken on the same day. Thought it was a bit of a compilation. Having said that, I once rode some back roads near Valencia where it hadn't rained for months. It was like riding on marbles. The slightest hint of throttle on the exit and the back stepped out. So who knows what happens around LA. Not exactly a wet place.
