  1. +1 for half-fairings! Sooooooo much easier to work on... :upyeah:

That engine should never be hidden.

  2. Now that was just the right moment for me to jump in and say hi there! New forum user form Denmark says hello.

Here's my street bike, an SS built as a Superlight clone.

  11. I picked this one up yesterday. She seems to be all there but is in a bit of a state. Someone has replaced most of the fasteners with bright gold ones, and the owner was proudly telling me how it was jetwashed after every ride. The engine looks a bit of a mess. It's got the 944 kit fitted though. Hopefully should get her back to former glory over the next year or so. From the MOT's I see that it had done 20k miles up to 2000, but then only another 1500 over the next 6 years, and not turned a wheel since 2006.

  12. It looks in good condition! In comparison to mine, it's a looker. Should be chuffed, doesn't need THAT much work

  13. Good potential! Drop the motor out for a refurb, shims, belts & some paint - get the head & swingarm bearings greased whilst you're there... :upyeah:

  14. Looks good Gilps, very tidy.

Have had the barrels, heads, and both engine covers powder coated satin black on my SL and they've come up a treat. Quite a bit of buggering about but final result is just what I was after, would recommend it...

  15. Glips looks like you've gotta nice Monster in the background any more pics???
