  1. Any bargains down there this year? My mates went and one of them bought a Pastie...........

  2. Portion of chips and a bottle of water - £4.70

  3. An X Spirit 2 for a price Shoei would have prefered their retailer not to sell at but I'm very please he did  and an Abba stand extension thingy to pull the back of the bike down so you can remove the front end which worked very well. Andy

  4. Hope you didn't buy it from Helmet City

  5. a bit of red tat for £10.00 from powerbronze

  6. Why is that Matt ? Andy

  7. As Matt said not the best to deal with .
I was not to happy when I had to return my lid after wearing it twice and found them rude :(

  8. I've bought from them before without problem and I've worn Shoeis for many years. I tried the helmet before buying, it fits, all the bits work and it seems fine and I'm happy that I was the first person to open the box. If I have a warranty problem I'll go straight to Feridax but I appreciate the feed back. Maybe I'm their one satisfied customer. Andy

  9. RST Kevlar jeans, Reduced to same price as on fleabay but at least I was able to try 'em on

  10. 2 bottles of Scottoil, 2 motorcycle adventure travel memoirs from the Overland magazine stand (or rather got the other half to buy those as an early Christmas present), a Knox Cold Killers top for the other half for Christmas, and some more custom earplugs from Ultimate Ear. Relatively cheap day out for me.

Might work out more expensive for the other half, as he was rather taken by the KTM 1290 SuperDuke, and is threatening to test ride one ...

  11. £100 off a helmet, £60 off a pair of boots and £15 off a pair of gloves :)

  12. A Red Fox hugger and Fender extender for £85 all in.

  13. Okay Matt, I've just read your post in the who's going to the show thread and uderstand your comment. I'm sorry for your experience, there is no excuse for rudeness especially in that environment. Strangely I did get a deal although I was a little less ambitious than you in asking for £15 which I got. Maybe it's because I look like a pensioner . Andy

  14. Davida helmet and pair of goggles which was a planned purchase, then I started browsing on the Hideout Leathers stand and in less than two minutes I had put my name (and debit card details) to new jacket. Needless to say it's superb quality like all the kit they make and if you're looking for a new set of leathers "off the peg" or "made to measure" you will not get a better service or product.:upyeah:

  15. Yeah nothing wrong the product; great helmet. Lots wrong with the bloke behind the counter. Glad you got a bargain thou, that's always good. I did buy a new visor and pinlock for my HJC for £30 from the Oxford stand which I thought was pretty good.

  16. A dust cover for the bike with a Ducati logo on it for £30 and some kevlar jeans for £50.

  17. Did you hold them to gunpoint or something :)

  18. A Kriega backpack; looks like a really nice bit of kit.
