I purchased the bike in 2008 up until which point it had been unused. I had it commissioned and MOT'd and I then rode the bike 2 or 3 times. Since then it has been SORN and it has been stored safely in my garage. The bike has now covered just 90km (56 miles) and I have just had a new MOT put on it. I have all of the original books, Limited Edition Plaque and even the MH900 T-Shirt! The condition of the bike is excellent (as you would expect) but, to be hyper-critical, there is a small amount of light pitting on the chrome bezel around the speedometer and on the chrome heat guard on the exhaust. Why so dear, though, other than the fact it was a limited production model? There's really nothing on it that stands out as being extra special.
I'm pretty sure It sold on ebay about 4 months ago for £11k ish.....rather have a SportClassic, rumour has it there's only a handful of 1000S models in the UK which makes them equally as rare.
That was on Gumtree same price, same blurb 3 months ago for about 4 days. I think it was in Devon though.

Mmmmmmm, Based on the background, bricks and pavement, in the photos, Mr Gumtree pOssibly got the F1 from Stile Italiano, (stileitaliano.com) presumably when sterling was particularly strong against the euro. Mr Bimble.
Sold on ebay a few months back,so is a come on.I have owned both at the same time,the Sport Classic S is a lovely bike but the MH is something else.Genuine MH900's will sell for anything between £10.500 and £16,000 depending if they have got the now,unobtainable,blingy bits.
If you look at one close up you will notice lots of things which are special in the way it has been designed and built.I have one and never cease to be amazed at the detail on it.Mind you it is a bit of a marmite bike and is not to everyones taste.
Well I certainly would not be disappointed if Mrs Santa put one in my garage. Or the fairies. Or something like that. They're pretty.

Well done-I had that on my watch list but it had gone.What is it with these people-do they think we all just came down from the trees? out of interest I emailed the original advertiser about the bikes service record.It didn't have one,never had the belts changed.I decided it was a dodgy one then.
SportClassic 1000s sold on eBay advertised for £12500 - wonder what they took for it !!! Those things are the pick of the bunch I reckon. Not saying I don't like the MH BTW just in a price range where's there lots of choices, I'd still like one.
and to think the dealerships were punting out the SC's for 4-5k to shift the last of them 5 years ago
