A man of men, a humble man with no anger, no bitterness and v humble a great loss of a 20th/21st century giant.
Freeee-ee Nelson Mandela!... Fackin shame but was on the cards. He will be sorely missed. RIP. you done good in your life! A great man and a great politician. Let's see how the civil war will now happen!
Or a convicted terrorist who formed, and then led the armed wing of the ANC. He organised their bombing campaign. He even procured arms from China, this doesn't happen by accident. He was a very intelligent man who knew very well what he was doing. As much as I admire the cause, a terrorist is a terrorist. I've seen first hand the results, so forgive me if I don't share the majority view.
One mans freedom fighter another mans terrorist. He fought against a racist ideology having tried peaceful means and witnessed the sharpeville massacre. Yep the right wing facist white minority were always for discussion and debate shortly before they murdered innocents among those fighting for civil liberty.
Are you fucking retarded or a potential terrorist yourself?. Fuck your opinion on this! He was a great man, whereas you are clearly a piss stain!
I must admit I never knew about his beginnings as a terrorist. interesting to see if gerry adams and martin mcguiness will be held in the same regard with the passage of time as there are some parallel lines here ??... I personally think he did good overall and the job was a goodun
i was commenting on your opinion. Thank you for your acceptance that you are in fact a piss stain!...
He wasn't to start with he wanted 1man 1 vote he tried the road of peace, the white minority responded with killing hundreds of people that wanted equality. It was a racist secular society that was embraced by the ruling boer minority. We as British have nowt to be proud of we with the boers ( Dutch settlers) oppressed the majority with arrogance and racial selection . This was continued through to the 1980's by thatch and here cronies and the undermining of equality due to big business . Sorry nick I ardently disagree with you.
There are many examples of "yesterday's terrorists" becoming "today's politicians" over a very long period of time. I would not use the same word (terrorist) to describe someone fighting apartheid as I would use to describe cowardly fucks killing innocent folks in the name of their imaginary friend. Someone big enough to support truth and reconciliation rather than retribution should be an inspiration to us all. If anyone on here has been to SA before and after apartheid, I suspect and hope they will share my views.
I simply cannot think of any other person who has directly affected so many people, he freed an entire nation, displayed unimaginable forgiveness and showed the world how racism simply cannot triumph. R.I.P. Nelson Mandela.
