  7. They look great. When do you think they'll be ready to sell?

  8. +1 :upyeah:

  9. Bryan is sending those samples to me in the post. If there as good as they look in the photos (which I'm sure they are) then I can give Bryan the go ahead for the standard 916 ones. In the meantime I need to find time to do the designs for the other models.

  10. Do you have à pics for stickers 748s haydn ?

  11. No I still need the info for 748s

  13. For those that would like it, a picture of the right hand frame sticker from a 2000 748S. There isnt one on the left side. I have deliberately cropped the last digits, even I am not that bad with a camera ;)

  14. Have posted out the samples now

  15. Nice work Haydn - can take some pics of the labels on my 748 if you still need the info.

One small thing though (probably a bit late), the 'E' on the E mark label should be Helvetica. It's not a problem except for absolute purists, but if you need it the size and font is specified in the ECE regs :)

  16. The E Mark label? The bike will be type approved under the motorcycle whole vehicle type approval EU (EUWVTA) Directive which is the e1*92/61 number on the VIN label and this is good enough for registration in EU Community markets with a Certificate of Conformity issued from Ducati. However in some instances it is possible to get system approvals under the ECE process which is a set of Regulations issued from Geneva under the control of the UN - 'E' or big E. These enable the bike to be approved in non EU markets (Australia, Russia for instance) but they are also accepted for EUWVTA. The ECE regs require that the approval numbers are listed on the bike/car.

The whole vehicle for the 916 has been issued under e1 which is Germany, however the big 'E' has been issued by E3 which is Italy. This suggests that Noise and Emissions were more favourably, erm. 'interpreted' by the Italian ministry of transport. In other words the Germans wouldn't pass it but the Italians would.

    Totally off topic, sorry!

  17. Thanks john I will change that bit. I received the samples from Bryan this morning. They look good. I think a one small problem is the quality of the image I sent to Bryan. I'm not sure if there is way to enhance it a bit to improve the quality of the text. Bryan's printing is spot on but my images probably weren't good enough quality. It could just be me being picky so I'll stick a set on the frame tonight and take some pictures for you.

  18. Haydn, the only way to get the text even finer would be either screen print or litho print them, then get a cutter made to stamp them out, as the machine I did them on, will print and cut labels,

I re typed all the text in, and changed the settings to fine print,

That's prob the best there gona get without me getting some more silver material samples,

so as they say in the dragons den, I'm out. Havnt got time to try to get them any better.

    Sorry regards. Bryan
