Hello and help!

  1. Hi everyone.

    Jaunt bought my dream bike. A 1994 916 strada! It's only taken 19 years but I got there in the end! :)

    I'm in the process of buying a 748 SP but have a boggling question. Were the cylinder heads stamped with any writing or were they blank like the 916 SP(S)?

  12. Hello and in answer to your question. My understanding is that they all had "Desmo 4v" cast onto the head except the 916sp The head on those were plane and of adifferent shape "chamfered" so that under heavy braking the front wheel didn't contact the cylinderhead
