I've a red one. Collected last saturday Supplied Ducati Bristol Switched from KTM RC8R 2009 I'm loving it so far, only put 120 miles so far Dealer price and deals might be interesting? Mine will fit Termi's at first service. Going to charge me 2 hours labour Did fit rear cowl foc and small number plate as well.
1) Yep got my red one last month 2) No trade in kept my 08 750 GSXR because I really like it Im at 182 miles so far, Termis were fitted yesterday by my dealer Ducati Glasgow and fitting was free :biggrin: It currently has rear cowl, carbon heel guards, R&G tail tidy, mini led indicators and carbon shock guard. Still to fit carbon air covers and carbon key guard that I recieved yesterday.
Got a white one on Friday, so far only 44 miles on it Traded in a white 848 with akra's and flashed ecu with lots of carbon My 899 has termis, can't believe some people are being charged for fitting, it's part of the package. So far only put short levers on, ducati seat cowl and removed the pillion pegs Rad guard and tail tidy currently with the postman
Red one here No trade,kept my 848 for now. 5 miles from the pdi,to cold,wet,salty to ride ,i have a car with a heater for the winter
Took deliver of my red one from Ducati Aylesbury on Friday. Complete with Termis, R&G tail tidy,seat cowl on order. Traded a Gsxr 750 L3. Not ridden it yet due to weather...... spending far too much time in the garage!
Not sure what to do yet,the 848 is a track bike,it seems such a waste to keep the 899 confined to the public highway,so my plan is/was to sell the 848 get some spare fairings and use the 899 for both,only time will tell as i am quite attatched to the 848.
I've got a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more on here soon, my local dealer has sold 20 already !! wait til the spring comes........
Best of both worlds kipperfish, the Triumph is a hoot on the twisties I can keep up with most of my mates on there litre bikes, never had a sports bike before so thought I would hang onto it just in case, also wasn't sure about the v twin
Wish I could afford to do the same... in fact I'd love a speed triple and an 899! So what do you think of the 899 coming from the silky triple?
Ive only covered 140 miles so far, weathers been terrible up here, will take a bit of getting used to power delivery is somewhat different to the triple but the main issue I'm having is the engine braking not sure if it's the V twin or the electronic EBC not had time to play with all the settings as yet
